Spill Berms To Meet Every Spill Containment Need
Spill Berms are very important in the containment of spills of hazardous materials or oil. Specific spill control regulations are outlined in EPA 40 CFR 264.175 and 40 CFR 112.7. There are a broad selection of berms available to provide containment solution at Spill 911.
Auto-Collapse Berms
- Easy to set up.
- Specially designed to allow sidewalls to collapse in any direction and then revert automatically to an upright position.
- Driving a vehicle or rolling barrels over the walls is easy and the walls immediately reverted to its vertical position.
- Some models have the auto-collapse walls only at entry and exit points.
- Berm is made of XR5, a polymer coated fabric that is durable and chemical resistant.
- Sump capacity fluctuates from 269 gallons to over 7,405 gallons.
Perma Berm
- This is a flexible modular containment system.
- Sections can be joined together to reach the appropriate length.
- Sections are 13½’ W x 5′ L x 8″ H each.
- Panels bolt together and are sealed with buna rubber gaskets.
- Has drive-in/drive-out feature with a ramp that provides easy access.
- Steel construction has a coat of rust inhibitor primer with a top coat of equipment enamel.
- Rust-proof and durable.
- Each system must have two end sections for complete truck and tanker containment.
- There can be an unlimited number of mid-sections.
- Designed to meet EPA and OSHA requirements.
- Sturdy and able to withstand heavy use.
- System can be moved and reconfigured and may be used on solid substrates.
- Also works as a fuel transfer station, remote storage or wash station.
- Load bearing capacity depends on the number of modules used which varies from time to time. The range is from 1,300 lbs. to over 40,000 lbs.
Flexwall Berms
- Versatile and popular berm.
- Putting it together only takes a few minutes and the support halves slide together instantly.
- The utilization of the foam collar, a feature of an end wall design, allows the entry and exit walls to automatically stand up when the berm is full of fluid.
- Vehicles can drive in and out of the berm without having to lower or raise the walls manually.
- Rounded ends are intended to minimize pressure areas on the sidewalls and reduce the chance of corner tears.
- Made of 30 ounce berm fabric which is impervious to oils, fuels, potassium chloride, sodium phosphate, hydrochloric acid, 5% nitric acid, and others.
- Can be used in temperatures as low as -40º F.
- Resistant to tears and abrasions
- Comes with patch kit and drain plugs.
- Provide a quick, easy means of spill containment.
- Has a sturdy sidewall with exterior supports.
- Interior is 100% usable space.
- To set it up, just slide the support halves together.
- Made of 30 ounce berm fabric which is resistant to many chemicals.
- Has all of the features of the Flexwall berms.
