Take your time when considering the type of flooring your want installed in your kitchen as the texture, type of material and colour of flooring has a big effect on the overall look of the kitchen. When hunting for the perfect flooring buy some samples and test them out at home before making your final decision. Wooden flooring for example would look best in a country style kitchen while high gloss tiles will work for the modern kitchen.
