crosby prix de nations?
I’ve been looking at some used crosby prix de nations saddles on ebay. I have a high withered TB about 15.2 hh. Does anyone have one of these saddles? How do they ride/feel? They seem to be pretty inexpensive so I want to know if I’m “getting what I pay for” or if they are actually good saddles for the money.

and p.s. of course i will be taking the individual condition of the saddles into account before i buy. I’m just wondering about the model saddle since I have never ridden in one.
I had a NEW Prix De Nations, by Crosby back in 1977, I kept it for 3 mos. and HATED it. What you will find out if you buy one, it’s fine if you have a fairly FLAT horse, but with any wither, it’s going to sit you farther back and you’ll end up getting left at your fence more often than not.
I did find that Prix De Salute by Crump seems to make their riders more centered, especially if your horse has a set of withers on it.
Close contact maybe more of an IN style, but they’ve all gone by the wayside with this old gal and my Stubben Siegfried is still with me.
