How can i dress up as this character from Greek Mythology or how do I make a toga?
Its for a school project! I need to dress up as Leto (mother of Apollo and Artemis) I need ideas because i need it by tomorrow!
My teacher also said that if you don’t have anything you can wear you can just improvise by making a toga out of a bed sheet or something along those lines.
So how can i dress up as Leto, or how can i make a toga?
to make a toga, its quite simple. simply take one corner of the bedsheets and hold the sheet behind you. then, holding the corner in place on your shoulder (or a little over), take the rest of the bedsheet and wrap round your body — make sure another (preferably opposite) corner of the bedsheet can tie up to the one held on your shoulder. — for leto, being the goddess, you could wear a headband that is gold/bronze — also try and find gladiator sandals – put your hair in a bun aswell! – for an extra touch, pictures of leto depict her as having an additional sheet to her toga — make a shorter sheet into a belt like shape and simply wrap and tie around your waist.
