horse show apperance?
Sorry for the stupid question title i couldnt think of anything else. I am doing a walk/trot/canter hunter and equitation X’s and no X’s. so 4 classes. I had breeches but they get a really big hole in them. I have skinny jeans of which i have been using for my lessons. and then i have my paddock boots and half chaps. I dont have a shirt though. I was think like an all black polo. Any suggestions? I have a friend who will maybe let me barrow a pare but she is ALOT older then me… so i think it owuld be kinda weird. lol. Help! i will take anything!… but nothing like idk or idk but good luck. I like good lucks though!

But seriously the skinny jeans are not going to work. You will get docked by the judges for appearance (they seriously do that!), get funny looks from the other riders, and I don’t even think the show will allow it.
Go to a consignment shop and buy yourself some jodhpurs and a show shirt, and maybe even a hunt coat. On consignment you will pay about $30 for the jodhpurs, $15 for the show shirt, and about $50 for the hunt coat. Not too bad.
Half chaps and paddock boots will be fine more than likely for a novice class, as that’s what I’m wearing to my show.
I know it sounds pricy, but that’s the show world, welcome to it haha. My parents hate it too. LOL.
