3 ring elevator happy mouth bit?
What do you think of this bit? What is it used for? Because of what “problems” do you use it?

Not happy mouth, hollow mouth and with a french link. The mouth piece is supposed to be very very soft on the horses mouth, the two joints make it so the bit goes evenly across the tongue and bars. The width of the bars spreads out the pressure from your contact on the reins, making it softer.
The elevator or dutch gag is a leverage bit. When pulled it applies a lot of pressure on the horses poll. It’s a bit commonly used when jumping and can be very severe if you aren’t light with your hands. Most people use it on horses who can be troublesome keeping in control. Like if the horse tends to bolt after jumps.
