How do you correctly fit a hunting breastplate to your horse?
The ring on the front should be on the chest muscles, not the base of the neck. Right below where the neck ties in is ideal. You just change that by adjusting the shoulders.
Then you should be able to fit a fist under the strap that runs in between the front legs. I actually prefer for that strap to hang a little bit, they can get really bad rubs if it’s too tight. and you can always put a martingale fleece on it if it rubs anyway.
