Inner Breech
Riding Breeches pros and cons?
i am looking for some good quality breeches but i am not sure which kind
the full seat or just the inner knee
and i want one pair to breathe for the summer
and the other to keep warmth for winter( it only gets to around 30
degrees) so please tell me all pros and cons and where to get some
not too expensive
I’m guessing you ride English since youre looking for breeches?
I would recommend the Kerrits, Ariat or Devon Aire brands, they have a wide range of schooling tights in both really warm winter fleece fabrics and breathable summer weights. The difference between tights and knit breeches are that tights are usually made of a stretchy, synthetic material and are good for everyday riding. Breeches are better for formal lessons and clinics, are are necessary if you plan on showing. Personally, I prefer knee patch breeches to full seat because I think they offer more freedom of movement in the saddle which is important for jumping. If you are doing dressage, though, full-seat breeches are probably better.
