You may offer other colors as special orders, but equestrians usually wear brown, especially when they are competing. That is a true niche market!
This concept can be applied to most any area, just by being selective in your choices. Combine this with aggressive marketing and your home based business can flourish and make you some very solid income.
Accessories also do well because there is an established market for the product. In the jewelry industry, watches are great sellers because your inventory can be diverse and there are several necessities to keep them looking sharp and working accurately. A leather watch strap can change the entire appearance of a watch. If the watch previously had a band or bracelet, by changing to leather it will make the watch look more businesslike and will be more comfortable.
Because most everyone likes some type of athletics, a very common, yet successful product is a black sport watch. Sometimes they come in different colors, but black is preferred. Find styles that have many functions and your product line will be complete. These types of products always sell well, so it is just a matter of you finding customers and that will come exclusively from your marketing efforts.
