Opinions on the Korsteel Flexi flavored Bits?

What do you think about these peppermint flavoured bits???

My horse hates metal bits (copper, german silver, stainless, sweet, you name it, I’ve tried it) , so all I have been able to use is the Korsteel Flexi and happy mouth bits with him. I don’t think the flavor makes any difference at all to him, he only cares about it being plastic. The one downside is that he chews through the bit even with a cavesson and flash, so I have to replace the bits about every 6 months. They usually go on sale at horse frugal a couple of times a year, and I buy 3 at a time, flavored or unflavored, whatever is 6 inches for my big boy.

I like the control and speed of response in the loose ring snaffle; again the horse hates the french link. I just wish there was more choice in the 6 inch Korsteel Flexi bits. I don’t find that the flavor has anything to do with it. I can’t smell it on the bit when I get it out of the package.
