HORSE RACING: Filly Inglorious rules Queen’s Plate, first leg of Canadian Triple Crown
It was ladies’ day at the 152nd running of the Queen’s Plate Sunday, as Inglorious, the lone filly in the field of 17, turned in a smashing late run to win the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown at Woodbine Racecourse, just outside of Toronto.
