ok so i have a Arabian horse he has great ground manners but do you think i should get a Leather Lead with a Stud Chain! i looks so much better in showmanship! but would it be ok if i just cliped it on and not really use it!

If you want a chain because you think it ‘looks pretty’ then get a show halter that has a chain on it…any good tack shop will have them or know how to get them for you. A stud chain is NOT the answer in the show ring. It shows that your horse is possibly unruly or has no respect for you. They get twisted and rub on your horse They can also pinch the soft sides of the muzzle and the whiskers unless your going to completely cut them, which at a beginner level is not necessary. In my opinion and from experience working with horses in show and training the stud chain really only needs to be used by someone who really knows how to and when the horse could, absolutely, use the extra aid because they are excitable. A simple show halter, possibly with the horses name on a silver name plate, and a clean leather lead should be fine.
I will say that it is personal preference and I have seen people use stud chains just so that the new, stiff leather isn’t bent funny under the horses chin. However show halters and show leads are all designed for these things.
