What is your favorite western saddle pad?
My mum just bought me a beautiful western saddle (the store was closing, so it was half off). The only trouble is that I don’t have a western saddle pad! What’s your favorite kind (or the best you’ve ever used)? I really like the look of Navajo rugs 
Did you get yours online? For how much? Can you give me some websites with cheap, but good-looking (and good-quality) pads? Thanks
I really like a plain wool pad with a blanket on top. I like wool because it absorbs shock and it wicks moisture away which helps avoid slippage. The reason to use a plain pad with a blanket on top is that you can always swap out a different design if you decide you want something new, or if you want to match a new outfit. You still have the same pad underneath and you don’t have to be stuck to a certain color or design.
I like Diamond Wool, they sell all kinds of pads as well as blankets and they have different styles and sizes too.
