My horse uses a very, very low port curb bit (also known as a grazing bit). Any ideas where I could find one?
I think you are looking to find the same mouthpiece? The bit you have is called a grazing bit because the shanks are angled backward, which has nothing to do with the style of the mouthpiece. A grazing bit can come with a low port, or a mullen mouth which curves upward and would be the close equivalent of a very low port, with tongue relief all across the surface of the tongue. So I’m not sure how important the angle of the shanks is to you. I’m posting a site that you can scroll through….the mullen mouth colt bits may be what you want.
