Does my horse need a winter blanket?
My horse is not underwheight. hes put on alot this year. He is 8 years old solid paint if that helps. MY mom got a winter blanket for her horse last year, and it is still in good shape. So she dosnt need one for her horse and she wont buy me one. So its pretty much up to me to buy my own winter blanket for my horse. SHe wont buy one because i just got a brand new circle y matching saddle and bridle set. With a few other things. So she says blanket right now is out of the picture. SO that means its up to me to get one. My birthday December 19 and christmas december 25 Im sure ill get money. But do you think that would be to late to get a blanket? better yet
does he even need one? yeah he has a shetler etc. Grained 2x a day and has around baile 24//7
No he won’t need a blanket, as long as you provide a shelter and hay like you said, and you don’t clip hiss coat.
