Do you use numhnas or saddle pads and why?
I use both as I don’t have a pony and just use what the riding school has for each different horse and pony.
I use a numnah. Many people are under the perception that the numnah is used to protect the horses back from the saddle but it’s actually the opposite-it’s to protect the leather of the saddle from the horses sweat. In matter fact the saddle should fit the horse so perfectly that you don’t need any numnahs or saddle pads-I’ve ridden my horse a few times without a numnah.
