What to do about a probable wrist fracture?
I slid on some ice and heard a snap when I landed on my left wrist. It is swollen and has a bluish purple bruise. Is it broken? My doctor isn’t open until Monday should I buy a sling/brace or just leave it alone? Any advice especally with the pain until I see my doctor.
I was table topped at a football game and I fractured my wrist so I can tell you what to do.
1 Ice your wrist
2. after Icing it for about 30 minites wrap itsomewhat tightly
3.Ice for another 20 minites after Wrapping it
4. Use Sling everytime you walk or move.
5.Keep Wrist above heart at ALL times if possible
6.Keep wrist on pillow when laying down
7.Go to a doctor ASAP otherweise you may have to go through surgery
